Memories of an Old Boy

Welcome to the archives of an Anglo-Indian family who settled in South India over 200 years ago. We trace the family through the eyes of the last descendant in India, Reverend Donald Grant. His story starts with Captain Grant (1800s), through (loco-foreman) Hughy Grant (1870s), then (railway engine driver) Edward Grant (1900s), all featured sequentially below, and finally Donald Grant, a lay-preacher.
