Reminisces of a Colonial Shikari

Welcome to the archives of the Andersons, an Anglo-Indian family that finally settled in Bangalore/Bengaluru. Various members have travelled across and settled in various parts of the world including today’s South Africa, Pakistan, Egypt, Australia, and India. The narratives here trace family and local history from the standpoint of Don Anderson (the last of the 4 generations).

Don’s story in India starts four generations ago in Bengal Presidency (mid 19C) then Bolaram (late 19C to early 20C) to Bangalore (early to mid 20C) and Bengaluru (mid 20C to early 21C).
